Honeywell Sensotec is among a handful of companies offering pressure sensors that can measure pressure up to 200,000 psi with superior accuracy and reliability. Foil based strain gauge technology enables our pressure sensors to withstand pressure that would destroy silicon based or micromachined pressure sensors.

The Model TJE strain gauge pressure sensor measures pressure up to 60,000 psi with +/-0.1% accuracy. For ranges up to 100,000 psi, we offer the Model HP with 0.5% accuracy and operating temperature range from –65 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

For your most demanding applications, we use a hoop-stress design and special metal alloys to custom-build pressure transducers that measure up to 200,000 psi safely, reliably, and with 0.75% accuracy.

Typical applications for these tough, reliable high-end instruments are in oil-field geology and aerospace research and development.

Our high pressure sensors offer optional compensated temperature ranges from –65 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit with either millivolt or high-level outputs. Versions certified for hazardous environments are also available. All pressure sensors ship with certificates of calibration and traceability.

Pressure Sensor Applications

For more than 30 years, Precise Sensors has been making pressure transducers and pressure transmitters for applications in the Ultra High Purity Gas Segment of the Semiconductor Industry, for Automotive testing, factory automation applications and the Petro Chemical, Oil and Gas Markets as well as a wide variety of pressure sensors for general industrial and O.E.M. uses. We have also developed a line of gas cylinder scales and load cells for a variety of industrial applications.

Measurement Types & Ranges - Our products are capable of gage, absolute and differential pressure measurements in ranges from vacuum (114.7) to 100,000 PSI. Precise also supplies on board meters as well as remote digital indicators to complete the physical test and measurement package.

Wetted Materials - We use several metals for the wetted materials on our products. Those materials include several varieties of stainless steel including 316 VIM/VAR as well as Hastelloy C, A286 and Nickel 200. These materials allow us to measure the pressure of typical media like air, water and oil applications, but also allow us to handle some of the most corrosive substances used in industry today.

Extreme Temperatures - Precise Sensors is also known for handling extremely high temperatures as well as very low temperatures. We produce units that are capable of working at 2000° F constant media temperatures and also manufacture units that are tested and work below -320° F.

Standard Options - We provide a wide range of pressure ports to handle hydraulic, pneumatic tank level, liquid level, sanitary and flush diaphragm type applications.We also offer a wide range of both amplified and un-amplified models. Outputs include millivolt, 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC and 4-20mA to mention just a few.
